Where is my profile, what is my profile and why do we use it on Scavenged Shores?
Scavenged Shores aims to immerse players into a completely unique, Minecraft RPG experience, therefore, we use custom menus like profiles to minimise the need of chat commands.
Your profile is located in the 9th slot of your hotbar and can be opened by simply right-clicking whilst in your hand, or left-clicking it whilst in your inventory. This will cause the profile menu to pop up with a number of categories available for you to access. These are: Personal stats, Quests (Coming Soon), Friends, Cosmetics, Crews (Coming Soon), Settings, Quick Travel (Coming Soon) & Islands.

Personal Stats
Personal stats track your journey throughout Scavenged Shores and include information on your profession and levels.

Friends
Having a friend system on Scavenged Shores allows players a unique co-op and pvp experience. You can see your friends status, their stats and location; this makes it easier to team up to tackle bosses, unique events and explore together. Likewise, your friends can see what you’re up to and how you’re progressing in Scavenged Shores. You can access the friends menu by clicking on the heart icon in your profile menu.

Cosmetics
Cosmetics are purchasable through the official Scavenged Shores store (https://store.scavengedshores.com/) or earnable through participation in events. Cosmetics can be used to express your personality and show off your style/flair. It is important to note that these items are purely cosmetics and give no advantage, just a way to stand out! The available cosmetics are:
- Hats
- Icons
- Particles
- Glowing
- Name Colours
- Pets
You can access your unlocked cosmetics via the suitcase in your profile menu.

The settings feature allows you to customise your experience to your liking by offering features that can be enabled and disabled. The features you can toggle are:
- Toggle Join/Leave:
- When enabled, you will be able to see when your friends leave and join the server. This setting is automatically disabled for those who are not on your friends list.
- Toggle Pvp (Coming Soon):
- When enabled, you will be able to harm other players as long as their PVP setting is also enabled. This setting is automatically disabled in safe zones.
- Toggle Friend Request:
- When enabled, other players can send you friend requests.
- Toggle Crew Request (Coming Soon):
- When enabled, other players can invite you to their crews.
- Toggle Message in a Bottle (Coming Soon):
- When enabled, players will be able to receive messages via the ‘Message in a Bottle’ system.
- Toggle Custom Sounds (Coming Soon):
- When enabled, players will be able to hear the custom sounds for Scavenged Shores (tip: when disabled, your immersion may be hindered!)
- Toggle Sit:
- When enabled, players will be able to sit on specific blocks whilst right clicking (stairs etc.)
When a feature is enabled, it will be indicated by a green circle; a disabled feature will be indicated by a red circle.
